Christian Persecution in India is very real and the average Indian Christian especially the ones who live in our villages know the cost of following Christ. This is all the more magnified in the backdrop of the Indian society which is growing apart everyday divided on the lines of communalism and hatred for the other.

The very fabric of our India’s constitutions is secular i.e. respecting all the religions and faiths, which is our heritage for centuries together. However, during the last one and a half decade there is a rise of a fascist tendency inflecting through imposing Nationalistic ideology i.e. One Nation, One Religion, One Culture, One Language, One People as opposed to the basic concept of "country by promoting "Unity in Diversity".

The recent past has been rather stressful for Christians due to the various attacks on Christian institutions and persons in various states in India.
